Job Description

Facharzt (m/w/d) für die Zentrale Notaufnahme | Neuss, Germany | On-site We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Doctor to join the emergency department of a leading hospital situated on the banks of the Rhine. This facility is a critical care provider for the city, with a strong focus on surgery, orthopedics, and internal medicine, serving a substantial patient volume annually. The Role • Provide comprehensive medical care as a Specialist Doctor in the emergency department, working within a multidisciplinary team. • Support the Medical Director in organizing the emergency department, optimizing medical and operational workflows. • Ensure effective interdisciplinary communication and contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the emergency department. • Mentor and supervise junior doctors in training. • Participate in the on-call duty roster for senior physicians. What You'll Need • Completion of specialist training in Internal Medicine, Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, or Anesthesiology. • A proactive approach towards obtaining the additional qualification in Clinical Acute and Emergency Medicine. • Solid experience in acute and emergency medicine, with a proven ability to manage interdisciplinary patient care in an emergency setting. • Independent, accountable, and patient-centered working style. • Proficiency in emergency protocols and triage systems, with strong teamwork, social competence, and a confident demeanor.
