Job Description

Position Details:
Job Title: Data Governance Analyst (Data Deletion)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6++ months with high possibility of extensions
Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours/week
Contractor Experience Level: 1 (5+ years)

Must have strong communication, data analysis, and project management skills to:

Support the execution of Enterprise Data Governance Services plans for secure and permanent data deletion.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and align data deletion controls and processes with established frameworks.
Develop and execute test plans to confirm controls are fully implemented to reduce risks and address emerging organizational needs.
Conduct dataset discovery and inventory across Data Lake zones and maintain metadata.
Technical Skills: Databricks, ADLS, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Advanced SQL, Python and PySpark
