Job Description

DevOps Engineer

Location- Reston, VA day one onsite and in person Interview.

 

Job Description

•            Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.

•            Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

•            Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

•            Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

•            Monitor system performance, availability, and security.

•            Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

•            Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, release, and deployment processes.

•            Troubleshoot production issues and support incident management.

•            Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices.

•            Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

•            Strong hands-on experience with GitLab Administration and GitLab CI/CD.

•            Experience with Linux/Unix administration.

•            Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

•            Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

•            Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

•            Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.

•            Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk.

•            Familiarity with networking, security, SSL, DNS, and load balancing concepts.

•            Experience with version control systems and branching strategies.
