Position Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Mossville, ILOnsite, 5 days/week

Role Overview:
The team is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software features for embedded electronic controls supporting safety-detect machine applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software features using C++ / Linux.
• Perform requirements decomposition, software design, development, integration, and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues through triage and debugging.
• Develop validation plans and participate in design/code reviews.
• Collaborate with global systems, software, machine, and validation teams in an Agile/Sprint environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6–7 years of relevant industry experience; Master’s degree accepted with 5+ years.
• Strong C/C++ programming and software design/analysis.
• Experience with Git, debuggers, compilers, CTest/GTest.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, Linux, CAN, Ethernet/datalinks.
• Experience with system-level feature design and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and concise technical writing skills.
• Ability to communicate positions effectively and work within a diverse global team.
