About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical & Mechanical Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to support the design, development, and testing of electrical and mechanical systems. This role suits an early-career engineer who enjoys hands-on, cross-disciplinary problem solving and is eager to grow their skills across both disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical

  • Assist in designing mechanical components, assemblies, and enclosures using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Support stress, thermal, and tolerance analysis under guidance
  • Create and update technical drawings, BOMs, and specifications
  • Assist in prototyping and testing mechanical systems for performance and durability

Electrical

  • Support design and development of electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and wiring schematics
  • Assist in component selection (sensors, motors, PCBs, controllers)
  • Test and troubleshoot basic electrical systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes
  • Support compliance checks against electrical codes and safety standards (NEC, IEC, UL)

Shared/Cross-Functional

  • Assist in integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems into product designs
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, software, and quality teams
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation of electromechanical products
  • Prepare technical documentation
  • Learn and apply safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience (internships, co-ops, or full-time) in electromechanical design/engineering
  • Working knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and basic circuit design tools
  • Foundational understanding of mechanical (materials, thermodynamics) and electrical (circuits, controls) principles
  • Willingness to learn, strong analytical mindset, and good troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to mechatronics, robotics, or embedded systems (academic projects count)
  • Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools or PCB design software (Altium, Eagle)
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T and electrical schematics standards
