Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer Location: Bristol, Somerset Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k + Training & Benefits We are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer in the South West of England. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience undertaking ACOP L8 compliance duties, in addition to minor remedial tasts. It would be advantageous to be based with good access to the M4 and / or M5, for easier travel across the region. Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with a stronghold across the south of England. Qualifications:

• Good track record working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
• Ideally will hold NVQ Plumbing qualifications
• Understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Hardworking attitude
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Able to work to agreed targets

The Role:

• Undertaking a variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties across client premises
• Showerhead and outlet descales
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks
• Mains disinfections
• CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
• Replacing TMVs and flexi-hoses
• Deadleg removals
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring
