C# T-SQL Developer w/Google Cloud Platform - Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote C# T-SQL Developer w/Google Cloud Platform.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced C# Developer to join a high-performing payments technology team supporting a large-scale cloud migration initiative. This role will focus on enhancing backend applications, performing complex database updates, and helping modernize systems as they transition to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with deep expertise in C#, .NET, and SQL Server who has participated in cloud migration or modernization efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing applications, implement required updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful deployment of business-critical systems.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of professional software development experience
* Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET development
* Expert-level T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server development skills
* Experience developing and optimizing stored procedures, queries, and database processes
* Hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
* Experience supporting application and database migration projects
* Experience working within Agile development environments
* Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred:
* Experience with cloud modernization initiatives
* Experience supporting payment processing, financial systems, or transaction-based applications
* Experience migrating SQL Server workloads to cloud platforms
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
