"Business Analyst" with VDI Migration exp. - W2 role

Role: Business Analyst Data Sensitivity & VDI Migration

Location: Remote

Role Type: Long term temp/full-time hours

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience across data governance, data classification, secure data storage, and enterprise technology environments.
• Analyze enterprise-wide systems, applications, endpoints, servers, networks, and data flows to identify data usage, storage locations, dependencies, and security risks.
• Perform data sensitivity/classification assessments and identify critical systems, high-risk data, and physical-device storage practices requiring remediation or migration.
• Develop current-state and future-state architecture/process models, including data flows, access patterns, storage models, and system dependencies.
• Evaluate and recommend secure technology solutions including VDI (Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop), enhanced access controls, and secure data management approaches.
• Develop business cases, use cases, cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and migration recommendations for technology and data-security initiatives.
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, Technology, Governance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate findings, and align solutions with data-security policies.
• Analyze and support Privileged Access Management (PAM), access-control frameworks, auditing, compliance, and end-to-end data security processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, technical workshops, requirements sessions, process mapping, and cross-functional discovery across multiple business units.
• Translate complex technical analysis into executive-ready recommendations, migration roadmaps, risk documentation, and change-management requirements.
