Job Title: DRAM Firmware / Integration Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DRAM Firmware / Integration Engineer to join a high-performance engineering team focused on memory subsystem development, validation, and integration for advanced storage and embedded platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DRAM technologies, DDR4/DDR5 protocols, firmware development, and memory validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and validate DRAM drivers for firmware platforms.

  • Configure and validate DDR4/DDR5 memory subsystems and mode register settings.

  • Develop and validate DRAM initialization, read/write training, gate training, and write leveling procedures.

  • Work with DRAM PHY IP and memory controller interfaces.

  • Support DRAM ECC implementation, validation, and debugging activities.

  • Develop test procedures, automation tools, and validation methodologies for memory subsystems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve DRAM-related hardware and firmware issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful product integration.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, requirements, and project schedules.

  • Provide technical guidance during system integration and validation phases.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in firmware development, memory validation, or DRAM integration.

  • Strong understanding of DRAM architecture, operation, and integration concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with DDR4 and/or DDR5 memory technologies.

  • Experience with memory testing, validation, and debugging tools.

  • Knowledge of signal integrity fundamentals and high-speed interface concepts.

  • Experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other hardware debugging tools.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading hardware or firmware projects.

  • Knowledge of DDR power management states and refresh policies.

  • Experience driving root-cause analysis and debug activities for memory-related issues.

  • Familiarity with storage, embedded, or semiconductor product development environments.
