Secret Cleared Technical Writer with Security Clearance

Insight Global is actively hiring a Secret Cleared Senior Technical Writer to join our team supporting a large DoW Program at Fort Meade, MD. This candidate will join the team and act as a Technical Writer responsible for documenting a ServiceNow Platform - designing and creating user manuals and how to guides on best practices, as well as providing editing of existing documentation. The company is looking to transition three legacy systems into ServiceNow and this candidate will be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including operational reports, contract deliverables, and security incident reports. They will need to be able to write and edit technical documents for all the project’s solutions to include how-to documentation, process documentation and tasking orders. They also must be comfortable creating documentation for projects; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities from scratch. Minimum job requirements include:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade five days week
• Bachelors Degree and 5+ years experience as a Technical Writer
• Experience documenting system upgrades or implementations, preferably with ServiceNow
• Strong background creating new documentation as well was editing existing documentation Insight Global is actively hiring multiple candidates for this role so pay will vary based on candidates level of expertise, depth of knowledge, clearance level, among other factors. We expect to pay 100K - 125K for this position. We will also be offering a comprehensive benefits package.
