Java Integration Developer - 3648275

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Java Integration Developer position! This is a 6-18 month contract and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and develop complex integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot to solve business challenges
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that connect multiple enterprise applications and platforms
• Lead technical implementation of Azure cloud services including Functions, Key Vault, and Managed Identities
• Direct and mentor less experienced developers on complex projects and development best practices
• Analyze and document technical specifications, system integrations, and interrelationships between applications
• Implement OAuth 2.0 authentication and secure API communication patterns across integrated systems
• Execute comprehensive unit testing, debugging, and code quality assurance activities
• Collaborate with business units, operations teams, and technology staff throughout the development lifecycle
• Monitor application performance using Azure monitoring tools and optimize for efficiency
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to development standards and processes

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience with strong Java proficiency
• Expert-level knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and concurrency patterns in Java
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and implementing build automation
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services including Functions, Key Vault, Managed Identities, and monitoring capabilities
• Strong proficiency with HTTP client libraries, API authentication methods including OAuth 2.0, and error handling
• Demonstrated experience with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

Pay Range: $75-80/hr
