Job Description

T&C Supervisor – Financial Planning

Leeds | Hybrid

Up to £55,000 + Bonus


We are working with an established financial services business looking to appoint an experienced Training & Competence (T&C) Supervisor to join its growing team in Leeds.


This is a hands-on supervisory role supporting Financial Advisers through both the initial and ongoing stages of the firm’s T&C framework. You will play an important role in ensuring advisers achieve and maintain competence while delivering strong client outcomes and meeting regulatory standards.


The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising Financial Advisers through initial and ongoing T&C requirements
  • Conducting regular 1-2-1 meetings, coaching and competency assessments
  • Reviewing and analysing adviser KPIs and performance data
  • Completing annual role-plays and competency testing
  • Providing practical guidance and support to advisers
  • Ensuring adviser records and supervisory documentation remain accurate and up to date
  • Applying internal business standards and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting advisers in maintaining high standards of conduct and client outcomes


What We're Looking For

To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Experience within financial services , ideally within adviser supervision, T&C or a closely related role
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning – essential
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and requirements
  • Experience working with or supporting Financial Advisers
  • Strong coaching, communication and relationship-management skills
  • The ability to confidently challenge and support advisers
