Job Description

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a proactive and driven Key Account Manager to join our dynamic Sales and Business Development team. In this role, you will work directly with our largest and most strategically important clients to provide customized uniform and facility service programs. The perfect candidate will build long-lasting relationships and act as a bridge between our top customers and all cross-functional internal teams, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions tailored to fulfill the needs of every key client.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key business executives and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit while ensuring clients' expectations are met.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all key client matters and ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
  • Prepare reports on account status and manage account renewals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
