Role: Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12 Contract

Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Ab Initio, and Teradata to design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in cloud-based data engineering, data warehousing, and enterprise data integration.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery
• Expertise in Ab Initio (GDE, Express>It, Conduct>It)
• Strong experience with Teradata
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data migration
• Strong SQL and performance tuning skills
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
• Knowledge of Python or Java is a plus
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Ab Initio
• Build and optimize data solutions on Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery
• Perform Teradata data modeling, optimization, and migration
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot data issues
