About the IT Analyst Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT professional to join our team and play a key role in providing and maintaining an efficient, secure, and cost-effective technology environment that supports our organisation and the communities we serve.

In this role, you will help maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure, software applications, telephony equipment, Housing Management Systems, and digital corporate systems. You will contribute to the design and development of technology solutions that support Teign Housings objectives and enable colleagues to deliver excellent services.

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week.

Location: Devon, TQ12 4PH.

What you'll be doing

As our IT Analyst, you will:

  • Delivering effective IT support services to users and systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining network, infrastructure and system performance
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining software, servers, networks and communications equipment
  • Supporting IT equipment setup, maintenance and repairs
  • Maintaining IT security compliance with legislation and standards
  • Supporting cyber security activities, testing and remediation
  • Managing IT equipment, consumables and stock levels
  • Creating and maintaining IT documentation, reports and user guides
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of business continuity plans
  • Liaising with third-party IT suppliers and support providers
  • Collaborating on IT projects to build knowledge and capability

You will bring your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to help us continuously improve our IT services. You will be someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality support, embraces new ideas, and uses initiative to make a positive impact.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience working within an IT department or a recognised IT/digital qualification
  • A proven track record of successfully supporting staff and teams
  • Experience delivering successful IT innovative solutions
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • The ability to analyse statistical information and interpret technical data
  • A keen interest and desire to progress within IT
