Oberarzt (m/w/d) Geriatrie | Neumünster, Germany | On-site We are seeking a dedicated physician to join a leading network of hospitals renowned for its comprehensive care across numerous specialized centers. This role focuses on providing holistic and interdisciplinary geriatric care within a well-equipped department that includes inpatient beds, day clinic spaces, and specialized units for geriatric trauma. The Role • Provide specialist medical care for geriatric patients in inpatient and day clinic settings. • Take senior physician responsibility for diagnostics and therapy, addressing geriatric multimorbidity. • Supervise geriatric assessments and integrate them into individual treatment plans. • Collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, social services, and case management for integrated care. • Guide, supervise, and support junior doctors, and participate in on-call and ward rounds. • Contribute to the development of geriatric treatment concepts and quality assurance. What You'll Need • Specialist physician qualification in Internal Medicine, General Medicine, Trauma Surgery, or a related geriatric field; Geriatrics specialization is desirable or to be acquired. • Excellent German language proficiency (minimum C1 level). • Proficiency in using hospital information systems. • Strong expertise in acute geriatric care, early rehabilitation, or inpatient geriatric care of multimorbid elderly patients. • Excellent interdisciplinary communication, leadership, and guiding skills. • A keen interest in quality management and clinical development.
