Senior Accountant – Manufacturing

We're seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team supporting manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting who enjoys partnering with operations to improve processes and drive business results.

What You'll Do

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Support inventory accounting, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances (labor, material, overhead, PPV)
• Assist with standard costing and inventory valuation
• Support physical inventories and cycle count programs
• Partner with operations and plant leadership to improve financial performance
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
• Support internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with:
  • Inventory Accounting
  • Cost Accounting
  • Standard Costing
  • Manufacturing Variance Analysis
  • Month-End Close
  • Financial Reporting
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CMA preferred, but not required
