Job Description
Role: SAP SD GTS Consultant
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 12 months (can extend)
100% on-site
SAP S/4HANA SD and SAP GTS Lead Consultant/Solution Architect to lead large-scale US-based digital transformation and global trade compliance initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Global Trade Services processes across multiple business units while ensuring compliance with US export regulations and global trade requirements. Should have knowledge on UST trade compliance regulations
Roles & Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA SD implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and support
engagements.
· Design and implement OTC business processes including:
o Customer Master Data
o Sales Order Processing
o Pricing & Settlement Management (Rebate)
o aATP
o Credit Management
o Shipping & Delivery
o Intercompany Processing
o Returns Management
o Billing & Revenue Recognition
· Conduct business workshops with US business stakeholders.
· Gather and translate business requirements into SAP solution designs.
· Define global templates and localization requirements.
· Drive process standardization and optimization initiatives.
SAP GTS Responsibilities
· Lead SAP GTS implementation and enhancement projects.
· Configure and support:
o Compliance Management o Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening
o Embargo Checks
o Export Control
o Customs Management
o Preference Management
o Legal Control / Regulation setup
· Ensure compliance with:
o US Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
o International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
o OFAC Compliance Requirements
o Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations
· Support foreign trade and customs compliance processes.
· Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
Managerial Skills:
· Strong client-facing and consulting skills.
· Ability to engage with Director, VP, and CXO-level stakeholders.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Team leadership and mentoring experience.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Experience managing offshore and onsite teams.
