Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in CI/CD, Release Management, Cloud technologies, Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps processes while collaborating with development, QA, system architects, and client teams to ensure seamless software delivery and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support DevOps processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end Release Management activities, including planning, scheduling, deployment, and post-release validation.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related automation tools.
  • Manage source code repositories using Git and ensure proper version control practices.
  • Utilize Artifactory (or similar repository management tools) for artifact storage and deployment.
  • Automate build and deployment processes using Ant and other build tools.
  • Support cloud-based deployments and infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Development, QA, System Architects, Infrastructure, and Client teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor deployment processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Maintain deployment documentation, release notes, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational DevOps and release governance standards.
  • Participate in production support, incident resolution, and environment management activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Build & Deployment.
  • Strong experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Hands-on experience with Artifactory or similar artifact repository management tools.
  • Experience using Ant, Maven, or Gradle for build automation.
  • Strong understanding of Release Management processes and software deployment lifecycle.
  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

  • Ansible or other configuration management tools
  • GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
  • Bash, PowerShell, or Shell scripting
  • Monitoring and logging tools

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with developers, QA teams, architects, and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
