RF Radhaz Survey Engineer | Dahlgren, VA, United States | Hybrid | $65,000 - $85,000 We're hiring on behalf of a leading government services contractor that provides vital technical and engineering support to the U.S. Navy. This organization is known for its critical role in national defense and its commitment to supporting complex military operations. The Role • Conduct electromagnetic environment (EME) and radio frequency (RF) assessments for DoD surface vessels, submarines, and shore facilities. • Perform field measurements, collect and analyze RF data, and prepare detailed technical reports. • Execute RADHAZ desktop analyses to identify potential hazards to ordnance, personnel, and fuel. • Develop and maintain essential technical documentation, including test plans and analytical evaluations. • Support antenna system verification testing, adhering to relevant military standards. • Travel up to 25% CONUS and occasionally OCONUS to conduct site assessments and testing. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. • Demonstrated knowledge and capability to conduct RF measurements. • Aptitude for collecting and analyzing RF data and preparing technical reports. • Familiarity with relevant military standards and handbooks is a plus. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
