Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise database applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL applications and database solutions.
• Develop complex stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, and SQL queries.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable database solutions.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Work with large-volume databases and optimize indexes, execution plans, and database objects.
• Develop and maintain ETL/data integration processes as required.
• Perform data analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in database design, schema development, and application integration.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, QA teams, and database administrators.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow development, testing, and deployment standards.
• Support code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and production releases.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and complex query development.

• Experience with SQL/PLSQL performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Oracle indexes, execution plans, partitions, and optimizer concepts.
• Experience with database troubleshooting and production support.
• Good understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting is a plus.
• Experience with ETL/data integration tools is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c/21c or later.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, or other deployment tools.
• Familiarity with Java or other application development technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Requirement

Must be willing and able to work onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, 5 days per week.
