Housing and Wellbeing Coordinator | Hunstanton, United Kingdom | Hybrid
This employer is a leading UK social enterprise dedicated to creating inclusive and thriving communities. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their Extra Care Team before the opening of a new scheme, focusing on resident engagement and support.
The Role
• Engage with residents to promote safe and independent living in a vibrant environment.
• Provide advice on rent, service charges, and support with financial needs and benefit claims.
• Work to reduce rent arrears in collaboration with the internal income recovery team.
• Assist with compliance and maintain awareness of Health & Safety.
• Build strong relationships with partners and develop local knowledge to support community development.
• Conduct viewings, participate in nominations panels, and assess individuals referred to the service.
What You'll Need
• Experience or knowledge of housing management, social care, and/or wellbeing services for retirement or extra care living.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Ability to work both as a team player and independently, with experience in lone working.
• A driving license and own car for business use is preferred.
• Awareness of Health & Safety regulations.
