Senior Manager, Technical SEO, Streaming

RESPONSIBILITIES

A Kforce client in New York, NY is looking for a Senior Manager, Technical SEO, Streaming. This role can sit in multiple locations and is 5 days a week onsite.

Summary

We're seeking a highly technical SEO professional to lead technical SEO initiatives across large-scale digital properties. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Analytics, and Marketing teams to ensure SEO requirements are integrated into web development, platform enhancements, site migrations, and release processes.

This is a highly technical role with strong engineering and cross-functional collaboration components. Candidates coming primarily from content SEO, copywriting, or small website environments will not be a fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO strategy and execution across large-scale web platforms
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to incorporate SEO requirements into product roadmaps, new features, site releases, and platform changes
• Create detailed technical documentation including requirements, Jira tickets, QA plans, implementation guidance, and technical specifications
• Conduct technical SEO audits, crawl analysis, site monitoring, and issue remediation
• Analyze technical SEO performance and identify opportunities for optimization, growth, and improved search visibility
• Support international SEO initiatives and ensure websites are properly structured for global search performance
• Provide guidance on JavaScript SEO, rendering, indexing, crawlability, and modern web architecture
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to communicate technical requirements and drive implementation

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong Technical SEO Background
• 5+ years of Technical SEO experience
• Large Enterprise Website experience
• Experience supporting large-scale websites
• Experience writing: Jira tickets; Product requirements; Technical specifications; QA documentation; Confluence documentation
• Must have hands-on experience with several of the following: Google Search Console; Screaming Frog; Botify; Ahrefs; Semrush
• Deep understanding of: Crawlability; Indexing; Rendering; JavaScript SEO; Canonicalization; Redirects; XML Sitemaps; Structured Data; Internal Linking; Site Architecture
• Enterprise-level or high-traffic digital environments
• Must have worked directly with: Product Managers; Front-End Engineers; Back-End Engineers; QA Teams
• Ability to translate SEO requirements into technical implementation plans
• Multi-market, multi-region, or global website experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
