Deskside Support Engineer

Deskside Support Engineer Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: Manchester (Onsite) We're seeking a Deskside Support Engineer to join an onsite IT team, providing hands-on support to end users and resolving technical issues that cannot be solved remotely.

Key Responsibilities Provide onsite support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams.<br />Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, peripheral, and user issues.<br />Build, image, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.<br />Support hardware refreshes, device rollouts, and new starter setups.<br />Manage Active Directory accounts, password resets, and user administration.<br />Troubleshoot printers, AV equipment, meeting room technology, and basic network issues.<br />Update and manage tickets through the ITSM system, ensuring excellent communication with users.<br />Support endpoint security tools including Microsoft Defender, antivirus, and device encryption.

Essential Skills Experience in Deskside, Desktop, or 2nd Line Support.<br />Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.<br />Experience with device builds, imaging, deployment, and hardware support.<br />Active Directory administration experience.<br />Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, antivirus, and endpoint security.<br />Basic networking and troubleshooting skills.<br />Experience using ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform.<br />Excellent customer service and communication skills.<br />ECS Resource Group are an Equal Opportunity Employer, for more information please click the following link: (url removed) In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, if you require an alternative form of application please click the following link:
