Job Description

job summary:

We are seeking a Manager of Business Analytics & AI Solutions to lead how we turn data into decisions and to

build the AI-driven tools that make our operations faster and smarter. This role owns business analytics and

reporting across NetSuite and its connected platforms, and designs, builds, and delivers working AI solutions and

automation that support Operations, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT. This is a hands-on leadership

role - the person in this seat builds and ships solutions, not just plans for them.

This is an AI-forward role. We expect the person in this seat to use AI tools heavily and daily - to build analytics

and automation, write and debug queries and scripts, develop AI-powered tools using large language model

APIs, generate and maintain documentation, and accelerate delivery across the business. The ideal candidate

treats AI as a core part of how the work gets done, not as an occasional convenience, and is comfortable

directing AI tools while remaining fully accountable for the accuracy of every output.

This is a delivery-focused role that combines analytics, systems development, and AI. The ideal candidate is

highly detail-oriented, understands ERP data structures, builds working tools end to end, uses AI fluently to

move quickly, and is proactive in partnering with cross-functional teams to solve real operational problems.

This is an on-site position based in our Loris, SC office. Regular in-person collaboration is essential to support

operational teams and ensure effective cross-functional communication.

location: Loris, South Carolina

job type: Permanent

salary: $100,000 - 120,000 per year

work hours: 9am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

- Use AI tools heavily and daily to accelerate the work described below - including building analytics and

automation, drafting and debugging SuiteQL, Saved Searches, and SuiteScript, developing AI-powered

tools, and generating and maintaining documentation. AI is expected to be a primary working method, with

the Manager responsible for validating all results.

- Own business analytics and standardized corporate reporting across NetSuite and its connected platforms

(including NetSuite Analytics Warehouse and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting), ensuring data is pulled

consistently from the correct systems and structured in a usable format for business stakeholders.

- Design, build, and deliver AI-driven solutions using large language model APIs (e.g., the Anthropic API) and

NetSuite's built-in AI features - such as document extraction, order and procurement processing,

forecasting support, and back-office automation - owning each solution from data to working tool to

documentation.

- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting sourced from NetSuite using SuiteQL, Saved Searches,

SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, and SuiteScript.

- Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and outside systems (e.g., iPaaS platforms such as

Celigo, vendor APIs, and email/document sources), using AI to speed authoring, testing, and error-

checking.

- Turn manual, repetitive processes into automated workflows, reducing hand effort and error across

departments.

- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Product Management, Sales, IT, Supply Chain,

and Product Engineering) to translate ambiguous business needs into precise, reproducible analytics and AI

projects with measurable outcomes.

- Maintain knowledge of where key business data lives across NetSuite, NSAW, and NSPB, and document the

structure of core records (item master, customer, vendor, sales orders, inventory, pricing), including

custom fields and record relationships.

- Track data dependencies and field usage to support projects involving system changes, integration

planning, or data migrations (e.g., to a Product Information Management or EDI system), using AI to

inventory dependencies and flag impacts quickly.

- Establish and enforce standards for data quality, code quality, and governance across all builds; coordinate

master data updates in line with approval protocols.

- Support user access setup and reviews in coordination with IT, ensuring data visibility aligns with user roles,

security settings, and audit requirements.

- Participate in periodic audits of critical data fields, using AI to help detect inconsistencies, missing

information, or misuse of fields, and coordinate remediation.

- Produce clear operational documentation - SOPs, data dictionaries, run books, and short exec-ready

summaries - using AI to draft and maintain these at scale.

- Serve as a technical and analytics leader during system implementations or enhancements, helping

translate business needs to technical teams and, over time, guiding a small team and/or outside

contributors.

- Help set the Company's direction on AI - identifying and prioritizing where and how AI is applied across

the business, guiding cross-functional stakeholders, and driving decisions from idea to adoption.

- Help shape and maintain Company AI standards, governance, and responsible-use practices, and keep

leadership informed on progress, risks, and opportunities.

- Continuously identify opportunities to apply AI across analytics and operations, and share prompts,

patterns, and workflows that help the broader team work faster and more accurately.

qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a

related field - or equivalent hands-on experience.

- 5+ years of experience in business analytics, systems development, data engineering, or a similar hands-on

role, with a track record of delivering working tools and automation - not only reports and slide decks.

- Strong command of SQL and data analysis; NetSuite experience strongly preferred, including SuiteAnalytics,

Saved Searches, and SuiteQL.

- Demonstrated, hands-on fluency with AI tools (e.g., large language model assistants and API-level

integration, plus NetSuite's built-in AI features), including practical skill in directing AI to build tools, write

and debug queries and scripts, generate documentation, and analyze data - paired with sound judgment

to verify and correct AI outputs.

- Scripting ability (JavaScript / SuiteScript 2.x, Python, or similar), including Map/Reduce, Suitelets, and

scheduled scripts in a NetSuite context (or equivalent).

- Strong understanding of ERP data models and operational, financial, and inventory metrics.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data and technical work to non-technical

users and leaders.

- Ownership mindset - finishes what is started and documents it.

Preferred

- Experience with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB).

- Experience with iPaaS / integration platforms (Celigo or similar).

- Warehouse, distribution, automotive aftermarket, or supply chain background.

- Experience building forecasting or demand planning analytics.

- Experience building repeatable AI-assisted workflows for tool development, data extraction,

documentation, or quality checks.

- Comfort experimenting with new AI tools and features as they become available, and evaluating them for

accuracy and fit.

- Experience leading or mentoring a small technical team.

- Experience setting AI or technology direction and standards across an organization.
