Job Description

Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Cuxhaven, Germany | Hybrid We're hiring for a leading European provider of integrated technical services for buildings, energy, and communications networks. The Role • Lead the commissioning of medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations, including those for renewable energy sources. • Analyze and resolve faults in protection and control systems, collaborating with expert teams to drive improvements. • Configure and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from global manufacturers. • Utilize state-of-the-art testing equipment for the precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology. • Work closely with site/project management, planning, and assembly teams to ensure project success. • Contribute to key energy transmission and distribution projects, including grid connection of industrial, wind, and solar parks. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering. • Proven expertise in protection/control technology, with experience in commissioning switchgear and knowledge of communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104). • Familiarity with parameterization software (e.g., Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1) and testing software (e.g., OMICROM TestUniverse). • Strong team player with excellent decision-making, communication skills (fluent German), and a professional demeanor. • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel regularly within Northeast Germany.
