Financial Analyst – Healthcare Finance

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for a fully remote contract opportunity supporting a specialized healthcare finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance, hospital finance, or clinical trial finance and be skilled in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.

In this role, you will analyze financial data, develop reports and financial models, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support operational and strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, perform financial reconciliations, and support special finance initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare finance, hospital finance, or clinical trial finance
• Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills
• Experience analyzing financial statements and reports
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare financial reporting or clinical trial budgeting
• Knowledge of research funding, grants, or research accounting
• Experience using ERP or financial management systems
• Understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes
