Human Resources Business Partner - Bruin
Quick Overview
Job Description
HR Business Partner – Luxembourg (Regional Coverage: Luxembourg, APAC & North America) 12 month FTC
A leading regulated financial services group is looking for a HR Business Partner on an FTC basis to join its Luxembourg team, with responsibility spanning three time zones: Luxembourg, the APAC and North America.
This is a genuinely international HRBP role for someone who's comfortable being the trusted people partner for leaders and employees across multiple jurisdictions — not just in name, but in the day-to-day realities of employment law, employee relations, and regulatory obligations that differ from one location to the next.
You'll report to the Head of HR and act as the HR point of contact for your regions, partnering closely with the business on everything from organisational design to employee relations casework, while making sure HR practice stays aligned with local regulatory requirements in each market. This is a close-knit, high-touch remit — you'll be partnering a total employee base of c.120 across the three regions, so you'll know the business and its people well.
What you'll be doing:
• Acting as the primary HRBP for client groups across Luxembourg, the APAC and North America, adapting your approach to each location's employment law, culture and regulatory landscape
• Managing employee relations cases end-to-end — from informal coaching through to formal investigations, disciplinaries and grievances — across multiple jurisdictions
• Advising the business on regulatory and compliance requirements tied to people matters in a financial services environment (e.g. remuneration codes, fitness & propriety, conduct rules)
• Supporting managers of multi-location and remote teams with practical guidance on managing distributed employees fairly and consistently
• Partnering with legal, compliance and local advisors to navigate cross-border HR issues
• Contributing to HR projects and policy work that need to flex across different territories
What you'll need:
• Proven HR Business Partner experience gained within financial services or another tightly regulated industry
• Fluent French (spoken and written) — non-negotiable for this role
• Strong, hands-on employee relations experience, including complex casework
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting HR in financial services
• Demonstrated experience supporting multiple territories/jurisdictions simultaneously
• Comfort and credibility working with multi-location and remote employee populations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to operate autonomously across time zones
If you're an HRBP who thrives on complexity and wants a role that genuinely spans three continents rather than just the job title, we'd like to hear from you.
