The Role:

• Teach Business Studies and Economics to A-Level students, inspiring them with a passion for the subjects and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to succeed in their studies and future careers.
• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities, incorporating real-world case studies, current affairs, and interactive learning activities.
• Contribute to the development of a challenging and enriching Business and Economics curriculum that prepares students for university study and careers in fields such as finance, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
• Provide guidance and support to students as they prepare for university applications, internships, and future career paths.
• Play an active role in the college's enrichment programme, organizing visits to businesses, inviting guest speakers, and facilitating student-led business projects.

Candidate Profile:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Business and Economics education.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of business and economic concepts, theories, and practices, with the ability to relate these to real-world situations and current affairs.
• Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
