Job Title: JIRA Specialist

Role Overview
We are looking for a JIRA Specialist to manage, configure, and support Jira environments, ensuring effective project tracking, workflow management, and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jira projects, workflows, boards, and dashboards.
• Create and manage projects, issue types, custom fields, screens, and permissions.
• Configure workflows, notifications, automation rules, and approval processes.
• Manage user accounts, roles, groups, and access permissions.
• Support Agile/Scrum teams with Jira configuration and best practices.
• Create dashboards and reports to track project progress, KPIs, and team performance.
• Troubleshoot Jira issues and provide support to end users.
• Maintain Jira configurations and documentation.
• Work with project managers, developers, QA, and business teams to understand requirements.
• Support Jira integrations with tools such as Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub, or other applications.
• Monitor Jira performance and coordinate with IT teams for technical issues and upgrades.
• Ensure Jira usage follows organizational standards and processes.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of Jira workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and schemes.
• Experience with Jira Software and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Jira dashboards, filters, reports, and JQL.
• Experience with Jira automation and notification configuration.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
