Functional Architect/Lead, Catalyst

Blair West have been retained to continue supporting XTEL in the appointment of a Functional Architect/Lead, “Catalyst” to help drive consistency, quality and scalability across its global implementation programmes.

Joining XTEL's new Catalyst initiative, you'll work at the centre of delivery innovation, helping shape the methodologies, standards and best practices that underpin successful customer implementations. This position is ideal for an experienced functional consultant or implementation leader who enjoys combining customer-facing delivery with strategic programme improvement. The Opportuntity

You'll operate across customer projects, partner programs and internal initiatives, ensuring implementations align with XTEL's standard solution approach while delivering maximum value for clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and promoting functional implementation standards and best practices.
• Supporting implementation scoping, estimation and program planning activities.
• Leading functional design discussions and solution definition workshops.
• Driving adoption of XTEL's template-led delivery approach.
• Developing implementation playbooks, methodologies and training materials.
• Reviewing solution designs and delivery artefacts to ensure quality and consistency.
• Coaching delivery teams and implementation partners globally.

You will be the idea candidate if you have:

• Significant experience within SaaS, enterprise software or business application implementations.
• Strong expertise in Revenue Growth Management, Trade Promotion Management, pricing, planning or related CPG domains.
• Experience leading requirements workshops and solution design activities.
• Strong implementation lifecycle knowledge from discovery through deployment and hypercare.
• Experience developing methodologies, templates and reusable delivery assets.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and coaching skills.
• Previous experience within CPG or commercial transformation environments would be highly beneficial.
