Job Description

Project Manager - New Product Programme

Education Technology organisation - Market leading!

Fixed-term to June 2027, spanning the programmes first two phases - Potential for permanent dependant on project delivery

UK-based, with occasional travel; some coordination across UK and US

Managing Education Consultants and Compliance Consultant

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the centre of a confidential, high-profile launch programme from its earliest stages: running the early-stage activity that will prove the concept, coordinating the specialists who make it happen, and building the operational foundations for a full launch. Full details of the programme will be shared with candidates as they progress through the process.

The role

You will own the planning and delivery of the programmes first two phases, taking it from an early proving stage through to a significantly larger rollout ahead of launch in summer 2027. You will set the project up, drive it to plan, co-ordinate the people who deliver it, and pull all the documentation together into a single, well-governed source of truth.

It is a hands-on, delivery-focused role in a fast-moving, pre-launch environment. This is a role for a genuine self-starter: someone who can pick up a complex programme with limited guidance, dig into every aspect of it, and take personal ownership of getting to the desired outcome. You will be comfortable creating structure from ambiguity, rolling up your sleeves across all strands of the work, co-ordinate senior and specialist colleagues, and keeping a complex, multi-strand programme on track to a fixed launch date.

What youll do

Own the end-to-end project plan across the programmes first two phases (milestones, dependencies, critical path, budget and risk), keeping a fixed launch date firmly in view.

Set up and run project governance: reporting cadence, steering reviews, decision logs and status tracking.

Co-ordinate an Education Consultant who leads the early-stage delivery activity, aligning their work with programme goals.

Co-ordinate a compliance consultant covering data protection and safeguarding requirements across both markets, including GDPR in the UK and FERPA / COPPA in the US.

Liaise with product, engineering, content, marketing, commercial and external stakeholders.

Take direct, hands-on ownership of day-to-day coordination (logistics, scheduling and equipment distribution) rather than delegating it.

Own the collection and synthesis of early-stage outcomes and evidence and produce the materials that underpin the decision to scale into the next phase.

Pull all programme documentation into a single, version-controlled source of truth.

Build the repeatable processes needed to scale the programme from a small early footprint to a much larger one and prepare the ground for launch.

What youll bring

Essential

Proven project or programme management experience delivering complex, cross-functional projects to time and budget.

Experience managing people and coordinating specialist contributors, including senior or consultant-level colleagues.

Excellent documentation discipline: able to create order from many inputs and hold a single source of truth.

Confident stakeholder management across technical, commercial and external audiences.

A genuine self-starter: able to pick up a complex programme with limited guidance, work autonomously, and take personal ownership of the outcome.

Comfort with ambiguity and a hands-on, delivery-focused approach in a pre-launch environment, willing to dig into every aspect of the project.

Desirable

Experience in EdTech, education, or products sold into schools or districts.

Familiarity with data protection and safeguarding regimes (UK GDPR, and / or US FERPA / COPPA and district procurement).

Experience running trials, betas or phased product rollouts.

A recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP) or an equivalent practical track record.

Why us?

Join an established, profitable, global EdTech company at the ground floor of its next major product.

Genuine ownership of a high-profile programme with visibility to senior leadership.

A collaborative team that has already taken world-leading classroom technology to scale.
