National Head of Resourcing
Hybrid | Salary: £40,000-£45,000 basic + bonus
25 days bookable annual leave + public holidays + extra day off for birthday + benefits

This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a national resourcing function that sits at the very heart of our dynamic business. Working closely with our Executive Team, and as a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you'll develop the strategy, systems and people that ensure we consistently attract, engage and secure the very best talent across our temporary, permanent and corporate staffing divisions. The Role
As our first National Head of Resourcing, you'll lead the development of a centralised nationwide resourcing function that supports our network of specialist recruitment consultants across the UK.
You'll be responsible for designing and delivering innovative candidate attraction strategies, creating scalable sourcing processes, developing a high-performing team of Resourcers and ensuring Tinies remains the first choice for childcare professionals looking for their next opportunity.
This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role, requiring someone who enjoys building functions, embracing innovation and using data to continually improve performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Tinies' national candidate attraction strategy.
- Build, lead and inspire a high-performing team of resourcers.
- Support recruitment teams across temporary, permanent and corporate staffing.
- Create innovative sourcing strategies across digital platforms, events, referrals and partnerships.
- Work closely with our Brand and Communications team to strengthen candidate acquisition and engagement.
- Develop talent pipelines for priority sectors and geographical areas.
- Develop innovative sourcing, attraction and engagement campaigns.
- Monitor recruitment performance, productivity and conversion metrics.
- Ensure all recruitment activity complies with safeguarding legislation and safer recruitment standards.
- Monitor candidate market trends and identify new opportunities to attract talent.
- Introduce new technology, automation and AI tools to improve sourcing effectiveness.
- Analyse recruitment data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Regional Managers and Recruitment Consultants to understand hiring priorities.
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience from first engagement through to placement.
- Contribute to wider business strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
About You
You'll be an experienced recruitment leader who understands that great recruitment starts long before a vacancy is advertised. You'll be commercially minded, highly organised and passionate about finding new ways to engage talent in competitive niche markets.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience leading recruitment or resourcing teams.
- Experience building candidate attraction strategies at scale.
- Strong understanding of candidate attraction and the onboarding journey.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience using recruitment technology, CRM systems and sourcing tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Collaborative leadership style and a passion for continuous improvement.
You must:
- Have previous experience within Education, Early Years or Childcare recruitment, staffing or talent acquisition is essential.
- Hold a deep understanding of the complexities around safeguarding and compliance in relation to children.
- Attend a monthly team day in person.
