Senior Network Automation Engineer
Our client is an exceptional quantitative hedge fund at the forefront of technology-driven investing. Operating across global markets, they have built a reputation for combining world-class research, engineering excellence, and cutting-edge infrastructure to deliver consistent performance. As the firm continues to invest heavily in its trading and research platforms, they are looking to hire a Senior Network Automation Engineer to join their infrastructure team in Paris.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance network automation tooling for large-scale datacentre environments.
- Develop automated workflows for network provisioning, validation, and operations.
- Capture network intent as code, implementing testing and quality controls.
- Integrate with vendor APIs and platforms to streamline infrastructure management.
- Improve network observability through monitoring, telemetry, and alerting.
- Partner with network and platform engineering teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.
- Drive NetDevOps best practices and continuous improvement across the environment.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong Python development experience for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Ansible and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Good understanding of Git-based development workflows.
- Knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and Bash scripting.
- Experience with source-of-truth platforms such as NetBox or Nautobot.
- Familiarity with observability tooling, including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
