 Role Summary

 

This role is for a strong new graduate in software engineering or computer science.Focuses on full-stack ownership, spanning from data layers through APIs to front-end interfaces.Part of a small, high-ownership team collaborating with product leads, data scientists, and designers.Key ResponsibilitiesFull Stack Development: Build interfaces using React and TypeScript and backend services using Python.Prototyping: Create functional prototypes to validate features with users quickly.Component Library: Contribute to and maintain a shared component library for intelligence products.Design Collaboration: Work directly with designers to translate wireframes into working code.Backend & Data Integration: Maintain API layers and manage data contracts to connect assets to front-end surfaces.Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiables)Bachelor''''s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a closely related field.Demonstrated React proficiency via coursework, projects, or internships.Python proficiency for building backend services and REST APIs.Strong TypeScript or JavaScript fundamentals.SQL working knowledge (queries, filtering, joins, aggregates, window functions).Ability to translate wireframes into high-fidelity front-end code.Clear communication skills for technical decisions and team collaboration.Preferred QualificationsExperience shipping projects to real users.Internship experience in a production engineering environment.Familiarity with Figma, Streamlit, and Storybook.Backend framework experience (FastAPI, Flask).Cloud platform exposure (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure).Understanding of design systems and non-SQL databases.Tech StackFront-End: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS.Back-End: Python, FastAPI, Flask, REST APIs.Data & Database: SQL, data pipeline awareness.Tools: Figma, Streamlit, Storybook, Git, CI/CD, Cloud platforms.
