Systems Architect with Security Clearance

Location: Alexandria, Va
Required Clearance: Must hold or be able to obtain Secret clearance Certifications: Holds or is working toward architecture or systems engineering certifications appropriate for Government environments, such as TOGAF, DoDAF, AWS Solutions Architect (Associate), or equivalent Government-recognized architecture or systems engineering certifications.
Required Education: BS/BA degree
Required Experience: 5 years relevant experience (an additional 4 years experience may be substituted in lieu of degree). Position Description: PingWind is seeking a Systems Architect responsible for supporting Tier 2 operations by analyzing, documenting, and advising on system and solution architectures to enable effective resolution of complex operational issues and sustained system performance. Responsibilities: • Support Tier 2 operations by analyzing system architectures, dependencies, and interfaces to assist with resolution of escalated incident and recurring issues.
• Assist with documentation of current-state and proposed architectural views to support troubleshooting, impact analysis, and operational decision-making.
• Support root cause analysis effort by assessing architectural factors contributing to system performance, reliability, or integration issues.
• Collaborates with Tier 2 Support Leads, systems engineers, and technical teams to recommend architecture-aligned solutions and corrective actions.
• Assist with maintaining architectural artifact and technical documentation to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
