Job Description

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading innovator in property technology, and we are seeking to hire a motivated Solution Design Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX.

This role combines technical expertise, solution design, problem solving and customer engagement.

The Solution Design Engineer will support pre-sales initiatives, develop customized technical solutions, and collaborate across teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into effective, scalable solutions that support successful sales and implementation.

Schedule: Full-Time | Exempt | On-Site

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
  • Assess customer requirements and design tailored technical solutions
  • Partner with product development teams to incorporate customer feedback into product improvements
  • Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and sales materials
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure solution alignment and effective communication
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of network design experience with Ruckus, Aruba, or Cisco Meraki equipment
  • Experience with Ekahau and Lucidchart preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint
