Network Security Elisity Deployment Engineer

Role Summary
The Elisity Deployment Engineer role involves managing the end-to-end onboarding process of Elisity’s identity-based microsegmentation platform within corporate network infrastructures. This position is responsible for collaborating with network, security, and IT operations teams to identify suitable switches, configure and validate deployment, and support device grouping to ensure policy enforcement. The role demands technical expertise in network infrastructure and security principles to facilitate smooth implementation and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and evaluate corporate switches as candidates for Elisity platform deployment
• Coordinate with network teams to confirm switch compatibility, including platform, OS version, and port capacity
• Document deployment scope, prioritization, and phasing plans to ensure structured implementation
• Author and submit change requests for configurations such as 802.1X, RADIUS, VXLAN, and ZTNA settings
• Follow established change management processes to review, approve, and schedule switch configuration changes
• Execute approved changes during scheduled maintenance windows with rollback plans prepared
• Confirm switches are forwarding telemetry and traffic to the Elisity Cloud Controller (CCC) effectively
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues between switches and the CCC, escalating issues as necessary
• Validate endpoint visibility and identity resolution within the CCC after deployment completion
• Assist security and operations teams in categorizing and grouping devices within the Elisity platform
• Support the development and refinement of microsegmentation policies based on network traffic insights

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or network security disciplines
• Hands-on experience working with enterprise switching platforms such as Cisco Catalyst or Nexus
• Working knowledge of network access control concepts, including 802.1X, RADIUS, and NAC
• Familiarity with change management processes, preferably ITIL or equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams on deployment and support activities
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Availability to support deployment activities during scheduled maintenance windows

Publishing Pay Range: $52.00 - $68.00 Hourly
This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between remote work and office presence.
