Processing Specialist-Team Lead:  
Position Overview  

Verra Mobility is currently hiring a Team Lead in our Government Solutions Event Processing department. This developing leader is someone who will be reliable, punctual, exercises good judgment, and makes sound business decisions. A successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership characteristics along with a desire to develop these leadership skills further. The candidate must place great emphasis on high quality work paired with efficient production. This candidate will support the Supervisor in curating sustainable employee engagement. It is essential that this leader have a true customer-centric mindset, and a lens for both internal and external stakeholders. The Team Lead will report to the Operations Supervisor within Verra Mobility’s Operations Group.  

 

Essential Responsibilities  

  • Regularly reviews processor performance, then provides coaching and training to address gaps.  
  • Thorough understanding of core values and leadership competencies with the proven ability to inspire others to embody them as well. 
  • Serve as leader within a team environment. 
  • Operate as the initial point of contact for team members regarding escalations or other issues.
  • Collects and disseminates daily metrics.   
  • Responds to client, customer, and/or internal processing-related inquiries in a professional, thorough, and timely manner.  
  • Fields and resolves escalated internal inquiries from other departments. 
  • Provides feedback and/or suggestions to leadership team on improving operational procedures and processes. 
  • Collaborate in planning and strategy sessions using continuous improvement methodologies.  
  • Partners with outside vendor and subcontractor organizations as needed. 
  • Diligently works on various internal project assignments as needed. 
  • Assists Supervisor/Manager with other tasks and duties as assigned. 
  • Oversees the office and team when supervisor is out of the office.  
  • Process events as needed.
