Senior Analyst – Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
Location: Remote with initial hybrid in Newark, NJ 
Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Strong Contract-to-Hire Potential)
Pay rate: $60/HR W2 (negotiable)

About the Opportunity
Seeking a Senior Analyst – Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to join its Strategic Initiatives & Enterprise Risk team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from a management consulting background who enjoys working directly with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, enterprise risk assessments, and business transformation projects.
This role supports the Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management and offers significant visibility across the organization. The selected candidate will work closely with senior executives, prepare executive-level presentations, lead strategic assessments, and help drive enterprise-wide risk initiatives.
The manager is looking for a high-potential consultant who wants to transition into an industry role with excellent long-term growth opportunities.
 
What You''ll Be Doing
  • Support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments and evaluate business processes, governance, and organizational capabilities.
  • Coordinate the annual Enterprise Risk Assessment process across multiple business units.
  • Assist with the company''s Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA), including gathering information, preparing documentation, and managing timelines.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations for Senior Leadership, Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and Board Committees.
  • Analyze enterprise risks and opportunities and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner with executives across Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit, Actuarial, and other business teams.
  • Coordinate Enterprise Risk & Opportunity Council meetings, including presentation materials and follow-up actions.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives and enterprise decision-making through business analysis and reporting.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Copilot (AI) to develop reports, presentations, and business insights.
 
What We''re Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in:
    • Management Consulting (highly preferred), OR
    • Enterprise Risk Management, Strategy, Business Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Financial Advisory, or Business Transformation.
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating executive presentations and communicating with senior leadership.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
 
The hiring manager strongly prefers candidates with experience at consulting firms such as:
 
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Exposure to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
  • Insurance or Healthcare industry experience
  • Understanding of ORSA, NAIC, or regulatory risk frameworks
  • ARM, CRM, or other Risk Management certifications
  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or other Generative AI solutions in business environments
