the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager – Sustaining to lead a portfolio of complex engineering projects focused on product lifecycle management, obsolescence, cost reduction and continuous improvement.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple engineering projects and programmes. Manage project scope, budgets, risks and delivery plans. Drive obsolescence, product support and engineering change projects. Deliver cost reduction and value engineering initiatives. Build strong relationships across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality. Provide project reporting, governance and stakeholder updates. Support continuous improvement of project management processes.

About You

You'll have:

Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or similar). Experience leading complex engineering projects within manufacturing. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience managing project budgets, risks and delivery schedules. A good understanding of engineering change, product lifecycle management and continuous improvement.

Desirable:

Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Lean or Six Sigma experience. Experience within high-tech or advanced manufacturing.

Location

This is an on-site role based in Clevedon, North Somerset, with occasional international travel.
