Description:

The Senior Operations Supervisors will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the workflow of the Transit Adjudication Bureau (TAB) public-facing units that handle in-person and telephone functions. S/he should have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to support the operations of these areas.

 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient operation of designated areas and manage the daily workflow  

• Provide timely updates to the Operations Manager, identifying unanticipated challenges and strategies for addressing those challenges

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage the daily activities of the TAB units

• Monitor workflow and prepare various statistical reports for analysis

• Evaluate unit operational procedures and business functions and make recommendations for improvement

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required 

• Minimum 3 years of Supervisory and/or Operations Experience; w/ ability to deliver excellent and efficient customer service  

• Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience with a corporate or government agency 

• Highly organized with strong follow-through and an acute attention to detail.

• Excellent judgment and outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to simultaneously balance multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office
