Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team in New York City. This is a hands-on senior-level position focused on building scalable automation frameworks, improving testing processes, and ensuring high-quality software releases across enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and enterprise application testing. This role requires close collaboration with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA strategy including functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
• Build and execute automated test suites for Web, API, and backend applications.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Review business requirements and technical designs to ensure complete test coverage.
• Perform manual testing for complex business scenarios and exploratory testing.
• Validate APIs, backend services, databases, and system integrations.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Track testing progress, release readiness, quality metrics, and project risks.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA best practices across teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Grooming Sessions, and Retrospectives.

• 8+ years of Software QA/Automation Testing experience.
• Strong experience building Automation Frameworks.
• Enterprise Application Testing experience.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
