DTS is looking for Underwriter (Commercial) for a Direct Client position based in Lewisville, TX

Job Description:

As a part of the SmartAuction Management team, the Analyst II - Dealer Credit Underwriter - assists management with the underwriting of SmartAuction dealer accounts and ensures strict adherence to company risk management policies and guidelines. Responsibilities may include dealer interface/service; developing and driving a culture of continuous improvement; concentrating on areas of risk and loss prevention. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert to internal and external customers/matrix partners. Customarily and regularly exercises independent judgment/critical/analytical thinking. Considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.

Mandatory Skills:
HS diploma or equivalent required.

Associate / bachelor’s degree in business related discipline preferred.

3 + years in financial services or similar industry is needed.

Prior leadership experience is preferred.

Education may be used as a proxy for experience.

Perform technical tasks required to support ongoing business operations.

Typically requires comfortable knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.

Contribute to and manage projects.

Strong analytic/problem solving skills required.
