Position Summary:
As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting our physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in an outpatient setting. This role is responsible for preparing procedure rooms, setting up and maintaining sterile fields, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all required equipment and supplies are available for safe and efficient patient care.
Position Details:
- Location: This position floats between our Southampton, Philadelphia (Bustleton Ave), and Trenton, NJ clinics.
- Schedule: Part-Time (25-32 hours per week)
- Compensation: $27-$35hr based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Prepare examination rooms and assist with medical procedures as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized medical environment, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and in working order.
- Educate patients on medication instructions and post-procedure care.
- Support the medical team with additional tasks as required
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent training and experience.
- Experience with instrument sterilization, sterile processing, and sterile tray setup.
- Previous experience in a Cath Lab, Operating Room, Interventional Radiology, or other procedural setting.
- Thorough knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
