FNE Frontend Developer

Location: United States (Remote)

Work Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Web Engineer to build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for web and application experiences. This role involves working across the stack to implement features, improve performance, and deliver high-quality user experiences. You will collaborate with design, backend, and infrastructure teams to develop UI components and client-side logic that brings product designs to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop frontend features using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Build complex data tables and grids with sorting, filtering, inline editing, and virtualized scrolling.
• Implement drag-and-drop interfaces, calendar views, and interactive scheduling tools.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and manage client-side state.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Develop backend REST APIs in Go using the Gin framework with OpenAPI specifications.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and write complex queries.
• Design and optimize MongoDB persistence and query patterns.
• Write and maintain database migrations for evolving data models.
• Integrate with AWS services (DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3) for caching, messaging, and storage.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 6+ years of software development experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js (App Router, Server Components).
• Experience building advanced data tables/grids (ag-Grid, React Data Grid, or similar).
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and headless UI component libraries (Radix UI or similar).
• Understanding of client-side data fetching patterns and state management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to UI/UX detail.
• Experience in backend development, preferably GoLang.
• Solid SQL skills including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and migrations (PostgreSQL).
• Experience building RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Familiarity with SQL query builders (sqlx, sqlbuilder).
• Understanding of relational database normalization, foreign keys, and data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with drag-and-drop libraries (dnd-kit or similar).
• Familiarity with calendar/scheduling UI components.
• Experience with code editor integrations (CodeMirror).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Vitest, Playwright).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of message queue patterns (SQS, SNS) and worker architectures.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes deployments.
• Familiarity with CloudFlare or other CDNs
