Software Engineer | Omaha, NE, United States | Remote | $69,550.00 - $125,725.00

The Role

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug mission-critical software using modern languages like Java.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within defined parameters.
  • Utilize Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git for work management and team collaboration.
  • Support the creation and updating of relevant documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing.
  • Identify and overcome potential developmental roadblocks.
  • Plan and estimate development tasks and contribute to performance metric improvements.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 1+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • US Citizen with an active Secret clearance or higher.
  • Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks like React.
  • Ability to apply software development process fundamentals.
  • Strong desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.
