Payments Solution Architect-UK Faster Payments

Leading Financial requires a Payments Solution Architect for a long-term contract role. You will be responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end solution architecture for the bank s Faster Payments UK implementation. The role will lead the design and integration of the payments ecosystem, centred around the IPF Payments Engine, Microservices Architecture, and Semantic Payments Hub, ensuring seamless connectivity between upstream customer channels and downstream accounting and finance platforms.

The architect will work across business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and vendor teams to deliver a scalable, resilient, Real Time payments platform supporting UK Faster Payments and future payment modernization initiatives.

The role requires extensive experience in payment processing, ISO 20022 messaging, event-driven architectures, fraud and compliance controls, and integration with core banking and accounting systems.
