An opportunity exists for an experienced sales professional in the Laboratory Products area of Thermo Fisher Scientific supporting Laboratory Consumables.

How You Will Contribute: Achieve assigned territory revenue goals through purposefully pursuing sales opportunities with current and potential customers Develop a robust sales pipeline and proactively develop strong customer relationships Collaborate and train our channel partners to develop and close sales opportunities Seek and promote new business potential through offering Thermo Fisher Scientific’s broad product portfolio and engage all appropriate colleagues to achieve maximum results for the company in total. Participate in assigned corporate and focus account initiatives. How will you get here? Education Bachelor's Degree required, preferably within Life Sciences, STEM or Business Experience At least 5 years of highly successful laboratory sales experience required Must have an outstanding understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse laboratory product applications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Selling Agility - Handles the Sales Strategy, Identifies and Qualifies Opportunities, Created Innovative Solutions, Closes the Business Know the Customer - Understands the Market, Discovers Needs, Articulates Value, Supports the Customer Self Leadership - Builds Relationships, Drives for Results, Maximizes Time, Makes Ethical Decisions Technical Knowledge - Knows the Products, Uses Technology, Applies Business Process Required travel ~50% of the time Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $70,300.00–$93,700.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
