Materials Developer/Innovation & Process Engineer

Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Materials Developer/Innovation & Process Engineer for an on-site position. This role involves supporting development processes, which includes communicating needs to factories, testing apparel materials in the lab to confirm reliability, and recommending improvements. The position is based on a hybrid schedule and may require evening calls to collaborate with teams in other geographies and international travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support development processes by communicating requirements and supply needs to factories.
  • Conduct lab testing on apparel materials to ensure reliability and performance standards are met.
  • Analyze test data and recommend process or material improvements.
  • Collaborate with a direct team and larger global teams to align on project goals.
  • Manage material development projects to meet established timelines.
Required Qualifications

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required for this role.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role is required.

Technical Skills:
  • Experience with polymer materials.
  • Familiarity with JMP software.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Ability to work efficiently and refine communication on diverse teams.
  • A problem-solver mindset.


Preferred Qualifications
  • CNC/tooling certifications.
  • Lab testing experience, specifically with polyurethane.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a self-starter.
